National “Get Organized Week” Day 4- Don’t Procrastinate


On Day 4 we examine, Procrastination as a weapon against becoming and staying organized.

We all have days when we choose to put things off. It’s a normal thing to occasionally put off doing certain things. The problem with procrastination is that the “thing” you are putting off doing is constantly on your mind. You actually spend more time thinking about what you need to do than you actually spend doing it.


1. Make sure you are actually using your To Do List. Don’t procrastinate checking items off your list daily.

2. Procrastination wastes time. You can use the time thinking about not doing something actually “doing something“.

3. Procrastination creates unnecessary stress that depletes you of energy. Start with small projects and complete them.
